How the Raffle Process Works
 

Drawing Procedure

1. All tickets will be mixed in the drum.

2. We will draw 3 winners, in order from 1st draw through 3rd draw.

3. Each drawn ticket will be placed into a clear container.

4. After all 3 tickets are drawn, we will announce the winners starting with the 10th prize and ending with the 1st prize.

Winner Notification

Winners will be contacted by phone. If no phone number is provided, we will notify winners by email.

Fayette County Habitat for Humanity has been and remains an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with EIN # 20-0729517.

1. PRIZE PACKAGES: FCHFH does not/cannot provide tax, legal or accounting advise. This section has been prepared for rules and regulations informational purposes only, and not intended to provide, and should not be relied on for tax, legal or accounting advise. You should consult your own tax, legal and accounting advisers before engaging in any transaction. Amounts paid for tickets may not qualify as deductible charitable contributions. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to be bound by these rules. In addition, Fayette County Habitat for Humanity assumes no responsibility for a prize winner’s state tax obligations.
 

This offer is void where prohibited by law and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. By participating in this raffle, all ticket purchasers and the person named on each raffle ticket accept and agree (1) to be bound by all the rules, limitations and restrictions set forth here, and (2) that their names and or likenesses may be disclosed to and used by the news outlets, social media outlets and may otherwise be used by Fayette County Habitat for Humanity for publicity purposes and naming of the prize winner to be published in area newspapers or other media outlets including but not limited to television, radio, web, social media and print. The prize winner will be published on the Fayette County Habitat for Humanity website and social media outlets. FCHFH’s interpretation and application of the rules and regulations shall be final. If a winner does not wish to claim the prize, the winner shall provide Fayette County Habitat for Humanity a written statement within the thirty (30) day period stating that the winner does not wish to take ownership of the said prize items.
 

By participating in this raffle, each participant releases Fayette County Habitat for Humanity and each of its respective directors, officers, board members, employees and agents from any and all liability for injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including, but not limited to, liability for possession, use or misuse of any prize, and each winner agrees to indemnify and hold Fayette County Habitat for Humanity and each of its respective directors, officers, board members, employees and agents harmless from any and all losses, damages, costs, expenses, rights, claims and actions of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of the winner’s acceptance or use of any prize.

2. The Bourbon Build Raffle Benefiting Fayette County Habitat for Humanity is a fundraising raffle in support of Fayette County Habitat for Humanity’s mission. These Official Contest Rules may not be waived, modified, or supplemented unless such waiver, modification or supplementation is made in writing by Fayette County Habitat for Humanity. 
 

3. PRIZES DRAWING: The price per ticket is $100. Only 200 tickets will be available for purchase. As long as at least 100 tickets are sold, then all prizes will be awarded. If less than 100 tickets are sold the raffle will be cancelled and refunds issued to all ticket holders. Ticket sales will cease when all tickets are sold, or the April 30, 2026 @ 11:59 PM EST deadline is reached. Any requests and payments received following the cut off times or after the sale of 200 tickets will be returned to the sender.
 

Drawing will be held on May 23rd, 2026 @ 4:00 PM CDT and will be streamed LIVE on Fayette County Habitat for Humanity’s Facebook social media feed. This date and all other dates stated in these rules may be extended at the absolute discretion of Fayette County Habitat for Humanity. Tickets may sell out before that time. The winning tickets will be drawn at random, from a hopper, containing all eligible raffle tickets by a Fayette County Habitat for Humanity employee or other approved patron. The drawing for the prizes will be streaming LIVE on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/FayetteCountyHabitat however, the winner does not need to be present or watching the live feed to win.

4. ELIGIBILITY: THIS RAFFLE IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED! *IF YOUR STATE, CITY, TOWN, MUNICIPALITY, ETC. DOES NOT ALLOW THE DELIVERY OF ALCOHOL OR ALLOW ALCOHOL TO BE ACCEPTED AS A RAFFLE PRIZE, NO EXCEPTIONS TO THOSE LAWS, STATUTES, ORDINANCES, RULES, ETC. WILL BE MADE.

5. Raffle ticket purchasers and the person named on a raffle ticket must be at least 21 years of age at the time of purchase. Offer void to anyone under the age of 21. Fayette County Habitat for Humanity accepts no liability or responsibility regarding the condition of the prize. All entries must be made in the name of the individual and no transfer of ownership of a ticket is permitted. No entries will be accepted from or on behalf of, corporations, trusts, partnerships, or other entities. Please be advised that Fayette County Habitat for Humanity employees, board members, and their immediate family members (family members living in same home) are not eligible to purchase tickets.

6. PRIZES VALUES: All values of bourbon prize packages below are a conservative estimate. Fayette County Habitat for Humanity makes no representations or warranties as to the accuracy of these estimates. 

The 1st prize is valued at $1,599.99.
The 2nd prize is valued at $1,199.99.
The 3rd prize is valued at XXX.
The 4th prize is valued at XXX.
The 5th prize is valued at XXX.
The 6th prize is valued at XXX.
The 7th prize is valued at XXX.
The 8th prize is valued at $221.71.
The 9th prize is valued at $189.63.
The 10th prize is valued at $184.76.
 

No prize substitution permitted except at Fayette County Habitat for Humanity’s sole discretion. The prizes are nontransferable. Any and all prize related expenses, and without limitation of any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. No substitution of prizes or transfer/assignment of prizes to others or request for the cash equivalent by winners is permitted.

7. REFUNDS: All raffle ticket sales are final. No refunds will be made with the exception: Any ticket request with verified payment received after 200 tickets have been sold or after the deadlines set forth.
 

No other refunds are available. Fayette County Habitat for Humanity assumes no responsibility for lost, destroyed, or any other failure to tickets prior to the drawing deadlines. A raffle participant’s sole and exclusive remedy for Fayette County Habitat for Humanity breach shall be limited to the return of the purchase price paid for his or her raffle ticket(s).
 

In no event shall Fayette County Habitat for Humanity or its respective directors, officers, employees, members, committee members, advisers, or board representatives be liable to any party for any loss or injuries to earnings, profits, or goodwill, or for any incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages of any person or entity.
 

7. TICKETS: Tickets are $100.00 each and may be purchased from Habitat for Humanity Board Members, select volunteers, or on Fridays and Saturdays from 9:00am-1:00pm at the Fayette County Habitat for Humanity ReStore at 825 N. Main St. Schulenburg, Texas 78956. You may buy as many tickets as you wish, subject to availability, until all 200 are sold. Each raffle ticket will be entered separately in the drawing. Each raffle ticket is a separate and equal chance to win one of the bourbon prize packages. Once your ticket has been drawn, it shall not go back in the hopper to have another chance at one of the other prizes. 
 

The 1st ticket will be drawn and placed into a see-through bowl/container. This ticket will be for the 1st prize. 

The 2nd ticket will then be drawn and placed into a see-through bowl/container. This ticket will be for the 2nd prize. 

The 3rd ticket will then be drawn and placed into a see-through bowl/container. This ticket will be for 3rd prize.

The 4th ticket will then be drawn and announced immediately. This ticket will be for the 10th prize.

The 5th ticket will then be drawn and announced immediately. This ticket will be for the 9th prize.

The 6th ticket will then be drawn and announced immediately. This ticket will be for the 8th prize.

The 7th ticket will then be drawn and announced immediately. This ticket will be for the 7th prize.
The 8th ticket will then be drawn and announced immediately. This ticket will be for the 6th prize.
The 9th ticket will then be drawn and announced immediately. This ticket will be for the 5th prize.
The 10th ticket will then be drawn and announced immediately. This ticket will be for the 4th prize.

We will then remove the winning ticket for 3rd prize from its container and reveal the winner for 3rd prize.

We will then remove the winning ticket for 2nd prize from its container and reveal the winner for 2nd prize.

Lastly, we will then remove the winning ticket for the 1st prize from its container and reveal the winner for the 1st prize.

8. PRIZE WINNERS: Winners will be contacted by phone. If no phone number is provided, we will notify winners by email. Winners names will also be posted on the Fayette County Habitat for Humanity web page as well as all Fayette County Habitat for Humanity social media outlets. The winner will need to provide proper state identification (one that matches the name from the ticket purchase) to the satisfaction of Fayette County Habitat for Humanity. Each winner will need to pick up your prize in person. A representative of FCHFH will assist in coordinating all the details with the winner regarding prize package pick up. 
 

Winners agree to the use of his/her name, photograph or videotape likeness and statements for publicity purposes by Fayette County Habitat for Humanity and agrees to sign a publicity release without any further compensation.
 

9. TICKET SALES: Only 200 tickets will be sold. Fayette County Habitat for Humanity reserves the right to extend the drawing date or cancel the raffle contest at any time.
 

10. Fayette County Habitat for Humanity reserves the right to modify or extend prize drawing deadlines, and/or add additional prizes or drawings at any time, in their sole discretion. All proceeds benefit Fayette County Habitat for Humanity.

11. Release from Liability: By participating, you also agree not to hold Fayette County Habitat for Humanity responsible for any liability, claims, or expenses that may arise.
